Frequently Asked Questions

How are the proposals delivered to my customers?

Your customers will receive proposals (or any other correspondence created through ProposalPath) either in the body of an e-mail, or via a link to a web page. It's up to you.

I'm having issues with my proposals getting caught up in my customer's spam filters.

The first thing to try is to send the web link version of your proposal, instead of the e-mail version. Many corporations and ISPs automatically filter out HTML e-mail, and sending the web version will send out a short text e-mail instead, with a link to your proposal.

I'm having trouble viewing a PDF that's attached to a proposal.

Here are couple of things to try:

  • Make sure you're running the latest version of either FoxIt PDF Reader (Windows) or Adobe Reader. On Mac, the built-in Preview program should work fine.
  • If you're running Adobe Reader (or Adobe Acrobat) and installing the latest version doesn't work, you can try disabling browser integration (which has been known to cause problems in Internet Explorer). In the Adobe Reader menu, go to Edit -> Preferences -> Internet -> Display PDF in Browser and uncheck the box.

Where can I contact you?

For a demonstration, simply e-mail Ryan Hamilton. Or our support e-mail if you need help. Or call us at 847-488-0225 for either.
